As A Child Protection Coordinator

Last November, I was designated by the District Supervisor, Samoore as child protection coordinator of Indanan South District. I attended Training on Child Protection Issues and Concerns. I learned many things about the children's rights and responsibilities. One of the children’s rights is the right to education. Unfortunately, there was conflict between two families in the same barangay where the two elementary schools are located. More or less 500 pupils affected by the said conflict.

As a child protection coordinator, it is my duty and concern to monitor and help provide special intervention or program to cater children affected by some issues and concerns affecting their holistic development. I was worried about the education of the children if they are not in the school. Alhamdulilla after the 15-day break, the pupils were already guided where to report. Education in Emergency was already practiced by the Indanan South District personnel since 2012 under the leadership of Sir Samoore S.Ladjahali.
